Fitchburg, September 30, 2022 – Garden Remedies, Inc. (GRI, gardenremedies.com) is proud to introduce the Pink Ribbon Roll, a limited-edition Pre-Roll prepared with pink rolling paper to honor the iconic symbol of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Pink Ribbon Rolls will be available at Garden Remedies’ recreational and medical dispensaries in Marlborough, Melrose, and Newton starting on Friday, October 7, priced at $15 each and 2 for $20.
A portion of the proceeds from every sale of the Pink Ribbon Roll will go to
Runway for Recovery (runwayforrecovery.org), a non-profit organization that provides families with a continuum of support along their journey with breast cancer.
"Our founder started Garden Remedies partially in response to her own experience with breast cancer,” explained Jeffrey Herold, CEO of GRI. “It will always be an integral part of the Garden Remedies mission to support people and families in our communities who are struggling with cancer.”
Runway for Recover seeks to redefine the experience of breast cancer for families through community support, restorative events, and more—including an annual Fashion Show that celebrates those who are fighting, remembers those who have past, and inspires us to support those who will be touched by breast cancer.
“We love partnerships that seek to support those impacted by the disease while also helping our growth as an organization,” said Olivia Achtmeyer Boger, founder of Runway for Recovery. “So many of our models have found cannabis to be incredibly helpful during their illness, so we are thrilled to partner with Garden Remedies, and grateful that they are willing to be so generous during the month of October!”
Based in Newburyport, Runway for Recovery was founded in 2007 and recently completed its 15th Anniversary Year.
“We’re so proud to partner with Runway for Recovery this month, and to assist their own mission to provide services that create joy and inspire hope for those who have lost a loved one to breast cancer,” Herold concluded.
Garden Remedies operates medical and recreational dispensaries in Newton, Melrose, and Marlborough, all powered by a best-in-class cultivation facility in Fitchburg. Through consistency, quality, and craft, Garden Remedies has become the home of cannabis in Massachusetts, developing each product from plant to person. It’s grown right here!
Runway for Recovery is a 501c3 non-profit that funds families and provides a team of incredible social workers to families who have lost a parent to breast cancer. Runway provides families with a continuum of support along their journey with breast cancer. We create community by hosting events and providing services that create joy and inspire hope.
