Did you know that Garden Remedies has been active in helping breast cancer patients and survivors since its inception? This October marks more than 10 years of our engagement in this cause. While our partner organizations and annual campaigns have shifted during the last decade, our commitment to helping the women and communities affected by breast cancer has not wavered.

Our founder, Dr. Karen Munkacy, had her own struggles with breast cancer and turned to medical cannabis for pain relief. Every October we have connected with local non-profits who assist women through their breast cancer treatment process as well as recovery while providing support to their families too. This year, we have partnered with Pawsitively 4 Pink, a group dedicated to providing financial assistance to low-income women struggling with breast cancer. Partnership With Pawsitively 4 Pink October 2024

This month, Garden Remedies is proud to partner with Pawsitively 4 Pink , a local non-profit that supports low-income, underserved women battling breast cancer in Massachusetts. The organization provides financial aid to families in need – while supporting patients through the treatment and recovery process through a holistic approach. As part of their unique and impactful mission, Pawsitively 4 Pink also provides emotional support dogs to help affected women mitigate stress and anxiety. [1]

Especially since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Garden Remedies and Pawsitively 4 Pink are enjoying the opportunity to join forces for good. Our partnership is making waves through spreading awareness about the needs of women in our nearby Massachusetts communities – and through this month’s donation program.
