Marlborough seeks revenue boost

As highlighted in the Metrowest Daily News, Garden Remedies’ proposal for an adult and medicinal marijuana dispensary in Marlborough would generate $501.000 a year in much-needed tax revenue for the city.

In Marlborough’s quest to fund three major needed infrastructure projects, Finance Committee Chairman Michael Ossing declares that tax revenue from several housing and commercial developments before the City Council could cover the annual debt service for the projects. Garden Remedies’ proposal for an adult and medicinal marijuana dispensary is one of eleven projects under consideration.
